Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Tile Stratum (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile game and related website. This policy is intended to meet Google Play Console requirements for a clear privacy disclosure URL.
1. Who we are
Tile Stratum is a single-player puzzle game developed by Sapadiya Software. Our public website is hosted at https://tile-stratum.netlify.app/. This Privacy Policy applies to the App and that website.
2. Summary
- Gameplay progress is stored locally on your device.
- Optional Google Play Games sign-in may store a User ID and display name via Firebase.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- If we add advertising, analytics, or cloud features later, this policy will be updated before those features go live.
3. Information we process
3.1 Information stored on your device
The App may store the following on your device (for example via on-device preferences storage):
- Coin balance and related reward progress
- Highest unlocked level and level-progress related values
- Settings such as music, sound effects, and vibration preferences
- Other local game state needed for a normal play session
This information stays on your device unless you clear the App’s data, uninstall the App, or we later introduce an optional cloud sync feature (which would be described here first).
3.2 Optional Google Play Games sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games Services, we may store a Firebase Authentication User ID and your Google Play Games display name to manage your profile and in-game status. We do not collect credit card details or passwords.
3.3 Information we do not intentionally collect today
- Account credentials or profile photos
- Precise location
- Contacts, SMS, call logs, or microphone audio
- Payment card details processed by us directly (store billing, if any, is handled by Google Play)
3.4 Website
When you visit https://tile-stratum.netlify.app/, our hosting provider (for example Netlify) may automatically process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and timestamps. These logs are used for security, reliability, and basic traffic understanding. We do not use them to build a marketing profile about you.
4. How we use information
Local App data is used only to:
- Save and restore your game progress and settings
- Provide core gameplay features (levels, rewards, audio/haptics preferences)
- Improve stability and user experience of the App
5. Advertising, analytics, and third parties
As of the effective date above, Tile Stratum does not integrate third-party ad networks or third-party analytics SDKs for user tracking.
If we later add features such as rewarded ads, crash reporting, or analytics, those providers may receive device identifiers or diagnostic data under their own privacy policies. We will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, obtain consent or provide in-app disclosures before enabling those features.
Distribution platforms such as Google Play may collect information according to Google’s own policies when you download or update the App.
6. Permissions
The App only requests permissions that are necessary for gameplay or optional features (for example vibration feedback where supported by your device). We do not request sensitive permissions unrelated to the puzzle experience.
7. Children’s privacy
Tile Stratum is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a channel we control, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Parents and guardians may also use device parental controls and Google Play family settings.
8. Data retention and deletion
- On-device progress: remains until you clear App storage, reset progress in-app (if available), or uninstall the App.
- Website logs: retained only as long as needed for security and operations by the hosting provider’s standard practices.
- Account data (if signed in): see our dedicated Account & Data Deletion page. We permanently delete associated account records within 14 calendar days of a valid request.
Because progress is stored locally today, uninstalling the App or clearing its data typically removes that local information from your device.
9. Account and Data Deletion
Tile Stratum offers an optional sign-in utilizing Google Play Games Services. If you choose to authenticate, a unique User ID and your display name are stored securely via Firebase to manage your profile and in-game status.
For full step-by-step instructions (including required email details and the 14-day processing timeline), visit our dedicated page: Account & Data Deletion Request.
How to request data deletion:
Because we do not have a web-based login portal, you must request data deletion via email. Send an email to moin20@zohomail.in with the subject line Data Deletion Request - Tile Stratum.
In the body of the email, please include:
- Game name (required): the game your account is for (e.g. Tile Stratum).
- In-game / Play Games display name (if possible): your exact display name so we can locate your account.
- Firebase user identifier (if known): any User ID associated with your sign-in.
We will permanently delete your account-related information within 14 calendar days of your request.
10. Data security
We take reasonable measures appropriate for a local-first mobile game. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Please keep your device updated and use device lock features to protect local App data.
11. International users
The App and website may be accessed from different countries. Depending on where you play and where hosting infrastructure is located, technical data may be processed in other regions subject to applicable law.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data.
- You can delete local game data by clearing the App’s storage in your device settings or uninstalling the App.
- You can request deletion of cloud/account data via our Data Deletion page.
- You can control sound and vibration from in-App settings.
- You can stop using the website at any time.
For privacy requests related to information we control, use the contact method below.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page at https://tile-stratum.netlify.app/privacy-policy.html. Continued use of the App or website after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
